Copy-paste WireGuard configs — by someone who sets up tunnels often and got tired of stitching them together from forum posts.
WireGuard's config is short, but a working setup needs the right AllowedIPs, IP
forwarding, a MASQUERADE rule, and sometimes PersistentKeepalive — and those
pieces live in different threads. This site collects complete, matching wg0.conf files
(server and client) for each real scenario, with every placeholder labelled and the firewall
lines included, so you can paste both ends and bring the tunnel up.
Recipes target current wireguard-tools / wg-quick on Linux (Debian/Ubuntu
shown; notes where distros differ), with iptables and nftables variants for the NAT rules.
Topics: install & keys, the wg0.conf format, road-warrior, full-tunnel gateway, split-tunnel, site-to-site, home-LAN access, NAT/forwarding, AllowedIPs, DNS/keepalive/MTU, phone QR, and Docker.
